Loraine Holmes perceived a space between Haute Couture and Street Wear. A space where a modern, sophisticated, but also vibrant and fun style could flourish. What’s more, she observed emergent societal trends: a growing desire to stand out for the authenticity, a renewed appreciation for craftsmanship and a resurgent interest in fashion in this space

LH would like to persuade women to give a warm welcome to new creative experiences and to take risks. LH demonstrates there is no need for a special occasion in order to feel fantastic and that the idea of elegance and classical taste are not synonymous anymore, giving path to a new style where sophistication, freshness and playfulness can coexist in harmony.

Through her collections, Loraine Holmes enables women to radiate their inner beauty and feel empowered with designs that embrace all types of bodies; proving that fashion is a state of mind.

The closeness with art has been a key element in the life of the designer. Her constant pursuit of beauty and her aesthetic sensibility are an important part of the brand’s creative universe. This is also reflected in the atelier work, where each garment  is created as a master piece and each detail is treated meticulously.

Loraine Holmes knows no limits to her professional achievement and determination ever since a short trip to Italy turned into a love story with fashion, so much so that she decided to pursue a career in the industry. In line with this goal, she enrolled in a Fashion Design course at Istituto Marangoni Milano and, during the second year, she did an internship with Catalan designer Teresa Helbig in Barcelona.After graduation, in 2014, she packed the newly acquired skills and valuable experience gained in Italy and moved back to her country of origin, Chile, where she founded her namesake fashion label in 2015. With an eye on Made in Italy expertise and a global vision of fashion, her dream was to become a successful designer and to get recognition in her homeland. It actually took her a really short time to break into the Chilean market and position her brand as one of the most appreciated of her generation.
